How does the agent reach Airtable?
Through a Custom MCP connection. Airtable is not built in. You add its MCP server, choose how to sign in (none, OAuth or API key), and review each tool before an agent can use it.
Does it delete records?
No. By default it only reads and lists. Any change asks you first.
Can it work on only one table?
Yes. Name the base and table in its instructions.
