Understand access before connecting a tool
An integration represents access to a service outside the workspace. Understanding the account and permitted actions is part of deciding how that service should support your work.
A service name alone does not explain the access being granted. Reading an issue summary and sending a response are different actions. Reviewing the records and permissions first helps you ask the right questions before authorizing a real integration.
Put it to work
- Contact context
- Inspect the fictional Lark CRM permission preview for sample contacts and reviewed follow-up drafts.
- Candidate stages
- Review fictional Cedar Recruiting access to candidate stages and interview preparation context.
- Issue summaries
- Explore fictional Harbor Helpdesk permissions for issue summaries and priority recommendations.
Inspect a permission preview without granting access
Explore integrations, then follow the example there:
- Choose an integration example and review its fictional service, proposed permissions and sample context.
- Approve creation, then inspect or edit the local definition and review checklist.
- Use Connect demo to change its local status and Disconnect demo to switch it back.
- Reopen the saved example to inspect the same permission preview; no external account is involved.
How it fits in your workspace
Common questions
- Are the integrations in the Explore tour real?
- No. Lark CRM, Cedar Recruiting, Harbor Helpdesk and the other services in the tour are fictional. They show the permission questions to ask before connecting a tool. The tour doesn't call their APIs, ask for credentials or set up an integration.
- Does Connect demo give TulipFarm access to any of my accounts?
- No. Connect demo only changes a status saved in your browser. It doesn't open an authorization screen or grant access to any account. If your work depends on a specific app, contact us about the integrations and actions TulipFarm Cloud needs to support.
All service names, records and permission previews here are fictional. No OAuth consent or external service access occurs.
