A method worth keeping
- Review the last conversation
- Summarize the open questions
- Draft a helpful follow-up
- Ask the owner to review before sending
The procedure stays separate from the role.
Keep the method behind good work
A skill is a reusable procedure: when to use it, what information to start with and which steps to follow. It captures the method separately from one task or one agent role.
For customer follow-ups, the method might be to read the last conversation, summarize open questions, draft one helpful next step and ask the owner to review it. Those instructions give someone a process to check, rather than a broad request to be helpful.
Put it to work
- Interview preparation
- Start with role requirements, summarize relevant experience and prepare consistent questions.
- Support triage
- Summarize the issue, check available context and explain a proposed priority before drafting a response.
- Editorial review
- Read the audience brief, check the example and review facts before approving a draft.
Write a procedure you can inspect
Explore skills, then follow the example there:
- Choose a skill and review when to use it, its required input and the expected fictional example.
- Approve creation, then edit its context and procedure steps to reflect the method you want to test.
- Mark the steps you have reviewed, or run a reviewed simulation and compare the sample outcome with the saved procedure.
- Reopen the skill after a reload to continue editing the same local definition.
How it fits in your workspace
Common questions
- How is a TulipFarm skill different from an agent?
- A skill describes a method; an agent describes a role. An editorial agent might use a fact-checking skill for one request and an outlining skill for another. In the Explore tour, saving a skill doesn't attach it to a sample agent.
- Can I import or run a skill package in the Explore tour?
- No. The Explore tour lets you read and edit sample procedure text and steps in your browser. It doesn't import skill packages, install resources or run scripts.
Demo skills are editable procedures in browser storage. They do not install or enable capabilities in the hosted app.
