Customer handoff notes
The detail behind the next step
Maya needs an onboarding checklist before the team’s next conversation.
- What we know
- A small team, preparing its first shared process.
- Still to confirm
- Who owns the handoff and when they want to begin.
Keep the explanation close to the work
Files hold the documents and working notes that explain a piece of work. A record can name the next action; a document can preserve the brief, decisions and supporting detail behind it.
A customer handoff needs the commitments from the last conversation. An article needs an audience brief and facts to check. Keeping that explanation readable gives the next person something concrete to work from instead of asking them to reconstruct it.
Put it to work
- Customer handoff notes
- Read the account goal, supplied reference records and the next question that needs review.
- Hiring brief
- Capture role requirements and a factual review note alongside candidate context.
- Vendor decision notes
- Keep the renewal context, owner and missing information together before making a decision.
Read, edit and keep a copy of working notes
Explore files, then follow the example there:
- Choose a file example and review the proposed working notes and fictional reference records.
- Approve creation, then read the document and edit its title, text or review checklist.
- Save the changes and use Download text to keep a local text copy of the saved document and steps.
- Return to the same example or its creation chat after a reload to continue exploring the context.
How it fits in your workspace
Common questions
- How are TulipFarm files different from tables?
- Files keep narrative detail, such as a brief, an explanation or a decision note. Tables keep many records in consistent fields so you can search, sort and compare them. In the Explore tour, sample files and tables are separate and don't share content.
- Can I upload my own files to the Explore tour?
- No. The Explore tour creates editable sample text in your browser. It doesn't upload documents to a server or connect a file account. You can edit the sample notes and download a text copy, but your changes don't reach TulipFarm Cloud.
Demo documents are local text examples. Downloading one creates a copy on your device; no remote file is uploaded or changed.
