You

Every Monday at 8, compare this week with last week in my metrics sheet. Tell me what moved the most, in plain words, and what I should check. Post it to #product after I say yes.

TulipFarm

I made an agent called Metrics digest and a Monday 8:00 schedule. It reads your metrics sheet. Posting to Slack asks you first. Activate it?

It reads quietly. It asks before it acts.

Reads without asking

  • Rows in your metrics sheet
  • Your limits for a big move

Asks you first

  • Posting to Slack
  • Saving the digest to Docs

It uses your own connections, so it never sees more than you can.

Grow it your way.

  • Read the database

Connect Postgres through a Custom MCP connection to read numbers directly. It is read only if you set it so.

  • Add the context

Add a column for launches and let the digest mention them.

  • Monthly summary

Add a second schedule that writes a longer note on the first of the month.

Questions, answered.

Where do the numbers come from?

From a Google Sheet or a TulipFarm table that you keep up to date. The agent does not guess numbers.

Can it read my database?

Yes, through a Custom MCP connection to Postgres. You review each tool, and you can allow only reads.

Does it explain why a number moved?

It points to what changed in your data and your notes. It does not claim a cause it cannot see.

Monday, the numbers explained.
