Questions about TulipFarm and Gemini Spark
Is TulipFarm a Gemini Spark alternative?
Yes, when the work belongs to a team. Spark is a personal agent that runs on one person’s Google account. TulipFarm gives a team shared tables, files and workflows, and for the actions you choose, an agent shows the exact change before a person approves it.
Where did Gemini Spark go?
Google renamed Spark to “Task”. In the Gemini app it now sits behind the Chat and Task toggle, and Google’s help center calls the feature tasks in Gemini.
Can my company use Gemini Spark with work accounts?
Not for now. Google’s help center says tasks in Gemini need a personal Google Account and aren’t available with a work or school account. They also aren’t offered in the EEA, Nigeria, Switzerland or the UK.
Can TulipFarm do everything Gemini Spark can?
No. Spark can browse websites in your Chrome or a cloud browser, run code, connect to apps like Instacart and OpenTable, and run up to 15 tasks at once. TulipFarm has shared tables with field rules, workflows that wait up to 30 days for a person, and private chats that admins can’t open.
When should I just use Gemini Spark?
Choose Spark for personal work across your own Gmail, Calendar and Drive, for tasks that need a browser, or if you already pay for Google AI Pro or Ultra.
Can I move my Spark tasks to TulipFarm?
Not automatically. Export the Sheets a task reads as CSV or XLSX and import them into a table, paste your skill’s instructions into a TulipFarm skill, and run both until you trust the result.
How much does TulipFarm cost compared with Gemini Spark?
Your first TulipFarm Cloud signup includes $50 in free credits. Paid plans aren’t public yet; see the pricing page to ask for more credits or apply for student, NGO or startup support. Spark comes with Google AI Pro at $19.99 a month in the US, or with Google AI Ultra.
Does TulipFarm work with Gmail and Google Drive like Spark?
Yes. Each person can connect their own Google account for Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Reading needs no approval; any change in Google waits until a person approves the exact request.
