Moving order work out of Freshdesk

TulipFarm can’t import Freshdesk tickets or replace your customer inbox. Keep Freshdesk for customers and move the order work behind it.

  1. Pick the work after the ticket

Choose a job your team does once a customer has asked, such as changing a due date or checking a proof.

  2. Bring the records in

Save the orders that job uses as CSV or XLSX, then import them into a TulipFarm table with field rules.

  3. Decide what needs approval

Write the job as a skill on a saved agent, and pick the actions that should wait for a person.

  4. Run it beside Freshdesk

Run the job for a week and compare. Your first signup includes $50 in free credits.

Questions about TulipFarm and Freshdesk

Is TulipFarm a Freshdesk alternative?

Only for the internal side of support. TulipFarm has no ticketing, shared inbox, SLAs or customer portal, so it doesn’t replace Freshdesk for answering customers. It fits the order work behind the inbox: records with field rules, agents that follow your skills, and approval of the changes you choose.

What is the difference between Freshdesk and TulipFarm?

Freshdesk is a customer support help desk: tickets, a portal, SLAs and an AI agent that answers customer email. TulipFarm is a workspace for your team’s records, files, agents and workflows, where a person approves the exact changes you pick.

Is TulipFarm like Freshservice instead?

Not really. Freshservice is Freshworks’ IT service management product for employee requests and assets. TulipFarm doesn’t do IT service management either; it runs business records, agents and workflows for a team.

Can TulipFarm agents answer my customers like Freddy AI Agent?

No. TulipFarm agents work for your team: they read and update records, post in Slack channels you grant, and wait for approval on the actions you pick. Freddy AI Agent answers customers directly.

When should I just use Freshdesk?

Choose Freshdesk if customers email you and expect a ticket, if you run a customer portal and knowledge base, or if you track SLAs. It’s also the better fit if you need SAML SSO and a SOC 2 Type 2 report.

Can I move Freshdesk custom objects to TulipFarm?

Not automatically. Save the records as CSV or XLSX and import them into a TulipFarm table, then add field rules for type, required values, choices and unique values. Tickets stay in Freshdesk.

How much does TulipFarm cost compared with Freshdesk?

Your first TulipFarm Cloud signup includes $50 in free credits. Paid plans aren’t public yet; see the pricing page to ask for more credits or apply for student, NGO or startup support. Freshdesk Growth costs $19 per agent a month billed yearly, with Freddy AI Copilot at $29 per agent a month extra.
