Where TulipFarm differs

Four differences that show up when the weekly order update has to change the order list, not just describe it.

  • Agents change the rows, not a copy

    TulipFarm

The agent updates the shared orders table, and a choices rule keeps stages valid.

    How ChatGPT Work handles it

ChatGPT Work creates finished files, such as a brief, deck or analysis, that are ready for you to review.

  • Approve the change itself

    TulipFarm

On actions you pick, Maya sees the field, its old value and its new value before anything saves.

For websites, admins can let members choose Always ask, Auto approve with automated risk checks, or Always allow.

  • A run can wait days for a person

    TulipFarm

A schedule or a webhook starts the workflow, and a run waits up to 30 days for a person, then carries on.

    How ChatGPT Work handles it

A task can start on a schedule or on Gmail, Slack and GitHub events.

Moving a task from ChatGPT Work

TulipFarm can’t import ChatGPT tasks or Team Tasks. Move one recurring task and keep ChatGPT for one-off files.

  1. Pick a task that edits a list

A weekly status update that should change order stages is a good first move.

  2. Import the list

Download the spreadsheet the task reads as CSV or XLSX and import it into a TulipFarm table.

  3. Paste the prompt into a skill

Use the task’s saved prompt as a skill, build the workflow, and choose which steps wait for approval.

  4. Compare one cycle

Run both, then pause the Team Task. Your first signup includes $50 in free credits.

Questions about TulipFarm and ChatGPT Work

Is TulipFarm a ChatGPT Work alternative?

For jobs that keep business records up to date, yes. ChatGPT Work delegates tasks that end in a file you review. TulipFarm agents and workflows update shared tables, and a person approves the exact change for the actions you choose.

What is the main difference between TulipFarm and ChatGPT Work?

ChatGPT Work produces finished outputs: briefs, decks, analyses and recurring updates. TulipFarm keeps the records themselves, in tables with field rules, and runs visual workflows that can wait up to 30 days for a person.

Can TulipFarm do everything ChatGPT Work can?

No. ChatGPT Work can use a browser and local apps from the desktop app, reaches SharePoint, CRMs and more through plugins, and has SSO and the Compliance API. TulipFarm adds built-in tables, a visual workflow builder and runs that resume after a restart.

Does ChatGPT Work have team features?

Yes. Teams and Team Tasks let members share scheduled or event-triggered work that runs on the team’s service account. New members can see all earlier runs and files, and single runs can’t be restricted.

Can admins see my ChatGPT Work chats?

On eligible Enterprise and Edu workspaces, yes. OpenAI says the Compliance Logs Platform provides Work user prompts and agent responses for eligible Enterprise and Edu workspaces. In TulipFarm, workspace admins can’t open members’ personal chats or private agent tasks.

How much does TulipFarm cost compared with ChatGPT Work?

Your first TulipFarm Cloud signup includes $50 in free credits. Paid plans aren’t public yet; see the pricing page. ChatGPT Work comes with every ChatGPT plan in the desktop app, including Free. Go costs $8 a month, and Business is $20 per user a month billed yearly.
