Where TulipFarm differs

Three differences that show up when a team shares one order job, each with a note on how Lindy handles it.

  • Your team’s records live in built-in tables

    TulipFarm

Orders sit in a table everyone shares. Field rules reject a value that isn’t on the list.

    See Tables

    How Lindy handles it

Lindy remembers things in memory files. Its docs don’t describe tables for business records.

  • Approval wherever the agent runs

    TulipFarm

On actions you pick, the agent shows the exact email or change and waits for an OK, in chat or in a workflow.

    How Lindy handles it

Guardrails apply in shared Slack threads. Web app chat, Slack DMs, iMessage and SMS aren’t covered.

  • Workflows you can see step by step

    TulipFarm

Build steps in a visual builder. A run waits up to 30 days for a reply and resumes after a restart.

    How Lindy handles it

A routine is a trigger, a prompt and a destination. Lindy rereads the instructions on every run.

Run both for one cycle and compare the results. Your first signup includes $50 in free credits.

Questions about TulipFarm and Lindy

Is TulipFarm a Lindy alternative?

Yes, for teams that share records and workflows, rather than each person wanting their own assistant. TulipFarm stores orders and clients in built-in tables, and for the actions you choose, an agent shows the exact change before a person approves it. Lindy focuses on email, calendar and meetings.

What is the main difference between TulipFarm and Lindy?

Lindy is an AI teammate that works in your inbox, calendar and Slack, and remembers things in memory files. TulipFarm is a shared workspace: tables, files, projects, agents and workflows the team uses together, with approval on the actions you pick.

Can TulipFarm do everything Lindy can?

No. Lindy manages inboxes, records meetings, works over iMessage and SMS, connects to far more apps, can use a computer on some plans, and has SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA. TulipFarm has built-in tables with field rules, a visual workflow builder, and runs that resume after a restart.

Does Lindy ask before it acts?

Sometimes. Lindy lets you set each integration to Always allow, Require approval or Don’t offer. Its docs say these guardrails apply in shared Slack threads, and that web app chat, Slack DMs, iMessage and SMS aren’t covered. In TulipFarm, the actions you choose wait for approval wherever the agent runs.

When should I just use Lindy?

Choose Lindy if you mainly want help with your own email, calendar and meetings, or you reach your assistant by text or phone. It’s also the better fit if you need SOC 2, HIPAA or SSO today.

Can I move my Lindy routines to TulipFarm?

Not automatically. Rebuild one routine at a time: export the records it tracks as CSV or XLSX and import them into a table, paste its instructions into a TulipFarm skill, and run both until you trust the result.

How much does TulipFarm cost compared with Lindy?

Your first TulipFarm Cloud signup includes $50 in free credits. Paid plans aren’t public yet; see the pricing page to ask for more credits or apply for student, NGO or startup support. Lindy’s Team plan starts at $49.99 a month per user with 5,000 pooled credits, and its free trial gives $50 in credits for 7 days. Enterprise pricing is custom.

Does TulipFarm work with Gmail and Google Calendar like Lindy?

Yes. Each person can connect their own Google account for Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Reading needs no approval; any change in Google waits until a person approves the exact request. A workspace can also connect Slack and GitHub.
