Where TulipFarm differs from Wrike

Three differences that show up when a rush order runs through each tool, each with a note on how Wrike handles it.

  • Imports and bulk edits wait for review

    TulipFarm

An import or bulk change is prepared as a proposal. A person checks it before any row changes.

    How Wrike handles it

Wrike imports and exports spreadsheets through its Microsoft Excel integration.

  • Approve what the agent will change

    TulipFarm

On actions you pick, the agent shows the exact change and waits for a person before it applies.

    See Agents

    How Wrike handles it

Wrike agents can start approval flows, but its help says an agent can’t pause mid-run and resume later.

  • Workflows with code steps and long waits

    TulipFarm

Add JavaScript or Python steps, start from a webhook, and let a run wait up to 30 days for a person.

    How Wrike handles it

Automation rules have monthly action limits: 50 per seat on Team and 200 per seat on Business.

Switching from Wrike

TulipFarm can’t import Wrike projects or automation rules. Move one record-heavy job and keep Wrike for project planning while you test.

  1. Pick a job that is really a list of records

Choose work where each item has the same fields, such as rush orders or reprints.

  2. Export to Excel, then import

Export the items from Wrike to Excel and import the file into a TulipFarm table. Review the rows before they apply.

  3. Rebuild the rule as a workflow

Recreate the automation rule as a workflow, and add a step that waits for a person to sign off.

  4. Run both, then switch

Run both for one cycle and compare the results. Your first signup includes $50 in free credits.

Questions about TulipFarm and Wrike

Is TulipFarm a Wrike alternative?

For record-heavy work, yes. TulipFarm keeps business records in built-in tables, and agents and workflows update them with a person approving the changes you choose. For enterprise project planning with Gantt charts, resource management and proofing, Wrike is the stronger tool.

What is the main difference between TulipFarm and Wrike?

Wrike is built to plan and deliver projects: tasks, timelines, workloads and approvals. TulipFarm is built around shared records that agents and workflows work on, and it shows the exact change before it applies on the actions you pick.

Does Wrike have AI agents?

Yes. Wrike has AI agents on its Business plan and above, with transparent reasoning, built-in testing and tracking of AI actions. It also has an MCP server on all plans, so assistants like Claude and ChatGPT can connect to it.

Can TulipFarm do everything Wrike can?

No. TulipFarm has no Gantt charts, resource planning, time tracking, file proofing or native mobile apps, and no SSO or SOC 2. It does have built-in tables with field rules, imports you review before they apply, and workflows with code steps that resume after a restart.

When should I just use Wrike?

Stay with Wrike if you plan large projects across teams, depend on proofing and sign-offs, need SOC 2 and SSO today, or rely on its integrations with Teams, Salesforce and Jira.

Can I move my Wrike data to TulipFarm?

You can move the records. Export the items to Excel, import the file into a TulipFarm table and review the rows before they apply. Automation rules and project plans need rebuilding by hand.

How much does TulipFarm cost compared with Wrike?

Your first TulipFarm Cloud signup includes $50 in free credits. Paid plans aren’t public yet; see the pricing page to ask for more credits or apply for student, NGO or startup support. Wrike has a free plan, Team at $10 per user a month and Business at $25 per user a month, both billed yearly. Pinnacle and Apex are priced by sales.
