When to stay with Power Automate

Power Automate is the better choice if any of these sound like your team.

Your team lives in Microsoft 365
Power Automate works inside Teams, Excel and SharePoint. TulipFarm doesn’t connect to Microsoft 365.
You automate desktop apps
Desktop flows automate Windows and legacy apps, attended or unattended. TulipFarm has no desktop automation.
You need formal approval chains
Its approvals support sequential, everyone-must-approve and first-to-respond sign-off, with actionable Outlook emails.
You need Entra ID sign-in and audit logs
Users sign in with Microsoft Entra ID, activity shows in Microsoft Purview, and it’s in Microsoft’s SOC 2 Type 2 scope.

Switching from Power Automate

TulipFarm can’t import flows. Move one job at a time and keep the flow running until you’re happy with the result.

  1. Pick one cloud flow

Choose a cloud flow that updates records and needs a sign-off, such as artwork approval.

  2. Bring the records in

Export the Dataverse table, list or sheet as CSV or XLSX, then import it into a TulipFarm table.

  3. Rebuild the steps and approvals

Recreate the trigger and actions in a workflow, and mark the steps that need a person’s OK.

  4. Run both, then switch

Run both for one cycle and compare the results. Your first signup includes $50 in free credits.
