TulipFarmvsGumloop

A Gumloop alternative with workflows at its core

Gumloop agents act in Gmail, Salesforce and Slack through connectors. TulipFarm keeps records in its own tables, and you pick which changes wait for an OK.

Where TulipFarm differs

Four differences that show up in one order job, each with a note on how Gumloop handles it.

  • Your records live in built-in tables

    TulipFarm

Agents update the rows your team uses. Field rules reject bad values.

    See Tables

    How Gumloop handles it

Agents work in your other apps, like Gmail, Salesforce and Slack, through the connectors you add.

  • A person approves the exact change

    TulipFarm

On actions you pick, the agent shows the exact change and waits for an OK.

    See Agents

    How Gumloop handles it

Approval is set per app or per tool. By default, an agent uses an app’s tools without asking.

  • Workflows that wait for people and survive restarts

    TulipFarm

A run waits up to 30 days for a reply, and a restart won’t redo finished steps.

    How Gumloop handles it

Its pricing page lists workflows as “Workflows (Legacy)”.

  • Your chats and tasks stay yours

    TulipFarm

Workspace admins can’t open your personal chats or private agent tasks.

    How Gumloop handles it

Who can see a conversation depends on your organization’s policy. Incognito tasks hold messages in a 24-hour cache.

Choose a job a Gumloop agent runs often, such as a weekly order report.

  2. Bring the records in

Export the data it uses as CSV or XLSX, then import it into a TulipFarm table.

  3. Turn its instructions into a skill

Paste the agent’s instructions into a TulipFarm skill and add it to a saved agent.

  4. Run both, then switch

Run both for one cycle and compare the results. Your first signup includes $50 in free credits.

Questions about TulipFarm and Gumloop

Is TulipFarm a Gumloop alternative?

Yes, for teams that want records, files, agents and workflows in one workspace. TulipFarm stores business records in built-in tables, and for the actions you choose, an agent shows the exact change before a person approves it. Gumloop focuses on agents that work across hundreds of connected apps.

What is the main difference between TulipFarm and Gumloop?

Gumloop starts with the agent and connects it to your apps through 300+ connectors. TulipFarm starts with your work: tables, files and projects that agents and workflows share. You choose which actions need approval, and workspace admins can’t open members’ personal chats.

Can TulipFarm do everything Gumloop can?

No. Gumloop has far more connectors, agents that use a web browser and run code in a sandbox, and SOC 2 Type II, with SSO and SCIM on its Enterprise plan. TulipFarm has built-in tables with field rules, workflows that resume after a restart, and approval of exact changes.

When should I just use Gumloop?

Choose Gumloop if you need a connector TulipFarm doesn’t offer, agents that use a web browser, or SOC 2 and SSO today. It’s also the better fit if people mostly reach your agents through Microsoft Teams, email or a hosted chat page.

Can I move my Gumloop agents to TulipFarm?

Not automatically. Rebuild one job at a time: export the data it uses as CSV or XLSX and import it into a table, paste its instructions into a TulipFarm skill, and run both until you trust the result.

How much does TulipFarm cost compared with Gumloop?

Your first TulipFarm Cloud signup includes $50 in free credits. Paid plans aren’t public yet; see the pricing page to ask for more credits or apply for student, NGO or startup support. Gumloop Pro costs $37 a month after a 14-day free trial and includes 20,000 credits that don’t roll over. Bringing your own model key raises Gumloop’s orchestration fee from 8% to 16%, and Enterprise pricing is custom.

Does TulipFarm work with Slack and Google Workspace like Gumloop?

Yes. In Slack, people mention an agent in a channel you grant, and it replies there. Each person can also connect their own Google account for Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets and Slides. Reading needs no approval; any change in Google waits until a person approves the exact request.
